World's Most Refreshing Beer Introduces Refreshing New Face: First-Ever 'Miss Coors Light'

On Sept. 9, MillerCoors announced via press release on PR Newswire that Rachel Rupert was recently named the first-ever ‘Miss Coors Light’ for the NASCAR Coors Light Sponsorship. Known as the official beer for the sport, Coors Light introduced Rupert, stating that her reign would kick off at the Loudon race on Sept. 19. Rupert will represent Coors Light at the tracks and in race markets for the 2010 "Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup™" races and then return for the full 2011 NASCAR season.

The release stated that Rupert was chosen from more than 100 applicants based on a variety of factors, including her passion for the sport. In her new role, she will interact with fans and drivers during at-track appearances, Coors Light-sponsored events and online. Beginning in 2011, she will appear on Coors Light's NASCAR®-themed point-of-sale materials.
