The Food Network Launches the "In the Kitchen" App

On November 4, 2010, Food Network announced the launch of its In the Kitchen App. The app has the capability to run on the iPhone, Ipad and Ipod touch devices and will be sold on the iTunes App store for $1.99. Conveniently, the app will recognize the device it is being downloaded to and launch the appropriate version.

The In the Kitchen App will feature 45,000 recipes from all Food Network chefs. Each recipe will include photos and step-by-step instructions. For those using the app on-the-go, ingredients from recipes can be put into a shopping list, which can be accessed both on and offline. Other features, such as an in-app timer and unit converter, make the cooking process much easier and efficient. During the launch of the In the Kitchen app, the Food Network will feature Thanksgiving recipes and plans to update its seasonal recipes monthly.

Call of Duty®: Black Ops Launches Worldwide

Nov. 9, 2010 – Activision Publishing (NASDAQ: ATVI) today launches Call of Duty: Black Ops, the most anticipated first-person-shooting game of the year. As the latest of a popular franchise renowned for realistic military settings, Black Ops is set to push the game standard even higher with its new features, including player customization, new online play modes and video recording capabilities. The game is also the first in the series to have 3D compatibility.

Top Harry Potter Vacation on Location Spots to Visit in Britain

VisitBritain, the national tourist board for England, Scotland and Wales, has prepared a fancy roster of "not-to-be-missed" Harry Potter related locations throughout the UK to welcome the Harry Potter fans right before the eagerly anticipated Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows I hits theaters on November 19, 2010.

The exploring adventure themed in Harry Potter offers two sets of plans for a visit in Britain. Visitors can join different groups with different itinerary depending on their budget. In its eighth year of operation, HP Fan Trips brings Potterholics the best of their past UK tours and adds some new stops along the way. In summer of 2011 Potter fans can ride a steam train along the same path taken by the Hogwarts Express, take a coach tour of the London locations used in the films, and even partake in an exclusive "Hogwarts-style" banquet at Edinburgh Castle.
